Silicon steel, also known as silicon steel Sheet or Electrical Steel, it is a ferro -silicon soft magnetic alloy steel with very low carbon content, usually containing 0.5% to 4.5% silicon. The addition of silicon can increase the resistivity and maximum permeability of iron to reduce the coercivity, iron loss and magnetic aging.
Cold-rolled non-oriented silicon steel is a ferrosilicon alloy with low carbon content. In deformed and annealed steel plates, the grains are randomly oriented. The silicon content of the alloy is 1.5%~3.0%, or the sum of the silicon and aluminum content is 1.8%~4.0%. The products are usually cold-rolled plates or strips with nominal thicknesses of 0.35 mm and 0.5 mm. It has the characteristics of high magnetic permeability, low coercivity and large resistivity, so hysteresis loss and eddy current loss are small. Mainly used as magnetic materials in motors, transformers, electrical appliances and electrical instruments.
1. Iron loss value. The most important quality indicator, all countries in the world are graded by iron loss value. The lower the iron loss, the higher the grade and the higher the quality.
2 .The magnetic induction intensity is high. Under the same magnetic field, silicon steel sheets with higher magnetic induction can be obtained. The iron cores of motors or transformers made with it are smaller in size and weight, and silicon steel sheets, copper wires and insulating materials can be relatively saved.
3. High stacking coefficient. The surface of the silicon steel sheet is smooth, flat and uniform in thickness, which improves the stacking coefficient of the core.
4. Good stamping performance. This is even more important for manufacturing small and micro motor cores.
5. The surface has good adhesion and weldability to the insulating film, which can prevent corrosion and improve punching performance. F. The magnetic aging phenomenon is small, and the silicon steel sheets must be annealed and pickled before leaving the factory.
