In 2024, GNEE Transformer designed and manufactured a cutting-edge 230 kV three-phase power transformer for a client in Janpanese. The client recently shared installation and operational photos, showcasing the successful deployment of this remarkable transformer. Let's delve into the specifics of this transformer project!

Key Features:

High Voltage: 230 kV
Low Voltage: 24.94 kV
Winding No: two winding
Type: core-type oil-immersed transformer
Insulation Fluid: Environmentally friendly vegetable oil with a flashpoint above 300℃, ensuring safety and reliability.

Cooling System

The 230 kV power transformer boasts a versatile air-cooling system with two-stage modes.
Capacity ranges from 10 MVA (when fans are off) to 15 MVA (with both fans active), offering flexibility based on operational needs. The 230 kV power transformer features an air-cooling system with two cooling stages. When the fans are not in operation (KNAN mode), the transformer's capacity is 10 MVA. Upon activating the first fan (KNAF1), the capacity increases to 12.5 MVA. With both the first (KNAF1) and second (KNAF2) fans running simultaneously, the transformer can reach its maximum capacity of 15 MVA. This allows customers to have flexible control over the transformer's output based on their specific requirements.
